The Trashcam Project is an image based city documentary, started by some clever garbo's in Hamburg. The group of garbo's got together and approached a local creative agency for some professional pointers on how to put their left of centre idea into practice. So what's the big idea?... 1,100 dumpsters have been turned into giant pinhole cameras.
'On a sunny day the exposure time for a photo can take as little as five minutes, but on cloudy ones, the workers may have to wait 90 minutes, giving them plenty of time to speculate on how the image will turn out. The photos are then developed in a special lab...' (Good.is)
