Urban Outdoors

Street art at amazing new levels. Claudio Ethos is a Brazillian street artist bringing abstract ideas to the urban outdoors. His most recent works can be found on the streets of Amsterdam as well as in Paris and in his home town of Sao Paulo.

To check out a collection of his works, head to his website, take me there
To plug into the world of street art, head to Vandalog, a blog dedicated to showcasing street art as it happens. Take me there.

I'm begging you to buy me one!... Pretty Please.

I stole this nice little blog post off Andrew! On a pleasant Thursday morning he came across this danty little cycle store and the macho man inside of him didn't quite have the heart to blog it himself.

Beg Bicycles presents a whimiscal, daisy scented store, dedicated to 'clasically styled sit up and beg cycling.' Flowers, pastels, cardigans and whicker baskets decorate this oh so dainty destination. Whilst browsing the ladies section I fell head over heels for the Flirty 30's Betty bike, it's practical, retro and features a tan leather saddle... What more could a gal ask for?

Treat yourself to a lovely ride through the Beg Bicles store, enjoy the ride!

We all want to be young in China

You may have seen the 'We all want to be Young' video we posted here a couple of months back. "We all want to be young in China" was created in response to the popular youth culture video. A huge population, evolving at a rapid rate - opening up to the western world but still deeply rooted in history and culture, this 3 minute piece focusses on possibly the most important consumers in the world today: the Chinese youth.

Por Favor

Remember how much easier it was in high school when you got your hands on a copy of last year's english essay that you just weren't quite smart enough to write? Well it seems that some people never learn. For the second time in two years, we have found that apparently our work is just so good that it has been plagiarised twice... by the same guy! Check out The Dream Lab's credentials document, look at all familiar? I guess we should be thankful that this time around he had enough forethought to change the name from Tusk to The Dream Lab and stop using our ABN.

A quick scan of his client list leads me to believe this guy loves alcohol, cars and clubs. Maybe The Dream Lab is a reference to his 'special place' where he dreams that his current clients are BMW, Barcadi and Titanium Bar.

I wonder just how long it is before he realises we've re-branded and 'borrows' our new layout too. Well, you know what they say... Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

See for yourself!

Just Launched - Hit N Run

Tusk was recently approached by action sports fashion retailer Hit N Run, to develop an e-commerce website. Having seen the obvious potential in capitalising on their existing 'bricks and mortar' retail presence throughout south-east QLD, the move into e-commerce sees Hit N Run take their brands into the online realm and extending their reach nationally. In addition to the website development and comprehensive e-commerce functionality, the site also required extensive integration with third party warehouse stock management and customer loyalty rewards systems.

Stocking such world famous brands as Tapout, Rockstar Energy Drink, Osiris, OG Abel, Dickies and Dub, the site is already a huge success for Hit N Run.

Market Day

Out and about on a breezy Sunday at The Village Markets. Even though some of the stall holders packed up shop due to the gale force winds, I managed to nail down a hot pink vintage skirt before all of the stalls were gone with the wind.

Pay a visit to The VIllage Markets in April, you can catch them on the first Sunday of the month.
