Wave Garden - Want! Want! Want!

So this has been talked about for some time, rumblings and rumours from within the surfing community, but now with the website release providing more info and footage than the teaser clips posted over the last few months, Wave Garden has been revealed and it looks awesome! You've probably seen the Flowrider in action and maybe the Malaysian Wave Pool - claimed to be the world's best -  but the technology surrounding the Wave Garden promising to provide surfers with the most realistic 'ocean wave' experience yet. Sure they waves in the footage are small, but the shape is great and the ride is realistic. They've promised to show us footage of chest high waves in action in few months which I can't wait to see. I'm not saying this will ever replace surfing as we know it today on a broad scale but the possibilities that Wave Garden are opening up are definately exciting.

From a logo / brand point of view, such an innovative concept could have benefited from a bit more attention here.... maybe the guys had trouble keeping out of the water though to direct too much energy towards this. Anyway, when I hit that Lotto jackpot I know what I'm putting in the backyard.
